OSCV NG SUPPORTER

The OSCV NG SUPPORTER is a modern Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel designed for subsea construction, installation, inspection and maintenance activities. A highly versatile multipurpose unit, she is engineered to operate safely and efficiently even in demanding weather conditions, thanks to an optimized hull design and a diesel-electric propulsion system.

Built in 2013 at the Vard Brattvaag shipyard in Norway, NG Supporter has an overall length of 120.8 metres and a breadth of 22 metres, featuring a cargo deck area of approximately 1,300 sqm with a deck cargo capacity of up to 3,100 tonnes. The vessel is DNV classed and equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system, ensuring high station-keeping performance during offshore operations.

The vessel is fitted with a 7.2 x 7.2 metre work moonpool, a dedicated ROV hangar with AHC LARS systems for operations down to 3,000 metres, and a 250-tonne AHC knuckle-boom offshore crane, enabling subsea lifting and installation activities. The operational setup is completed by a DNV-certified helideck and state-of-the-art positioning and reference systems.

NG Supporter also offers high-standard accommodation for up to 110 personnel, designed to ensure comfort and low noise levels during long offshore campaigns. Thanks to her technical characteristics and operational capabilities, she represents a strategic asset for subsea construction, light installation and maintenance activities within the NextGeo fleet.
