Naples, 28th March 2024 – NextGeo, a leading international company in the field of marine geosciences and offshore construction support services, with a focus on renewable energy, appoints Frank Koopman as Offshore Wind Strategy Director.

NextGeo has signed up Frank Koopman to further strengthen its know-how and its presence in the offshore wind and renewable energy sector.

Frank Koopman is an experienced executive and leader in the offshore energy sector, with over 20 years of experience in leading complex organisations, projects and innovation programmes. He was Global Director Offshore Wind and Global Director Marine Site Characterisation at Fugro from 2019 to 2023. In these roles Frank was responsible for the company’s highly successful growth strategy, innovation portfolio and investment programs for their business in offshore wind and renewable energies.

With this appointment NextGeo intends to confirm and expand the collaboration with Frank Koopman, in the firm belief that the knowledge and experience of such an established and esteemed professional will contribute to generating added value for the company and the business.
