Thanks to the encouragement of one of its most prestigious customers, NextGeo has determined to make a step forward in its overall safety approach to work by accepting – and winning – the challenge of the Safety Culture Ladder assessment process.

The Safety Culture Ladder (SCL) is an assessment method for measuring safety awareness and conscious safe acting (culture and behaviour) in companies. The emphasis is on the safety culture. The SCL is intended as a measure to encourage companies and their suppliers to consciously work safely. The higher the safety awareness in an organisation, the higher the assigned ladder step. The SCL is the basis of a certification system for different sectors where physical safety is a greater risk, such as construction, energy and chemical industries.

Following a thorough and meticulous evaluation procedure, NextGeo proudly achieved the coveted certification in February 2022 by LRQA (formerly Lloyd’s Register).
