{"id":10926,"date":"2026-07-02T11:45:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T09:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nextgeo.eu\/?p=10926"},"modified":"2026-07-02T11:46:38","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T09:46:38","slug":"nextgeo-joins-the-intermonte-valore-italia-index","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nextgeo.eu\/en\/2026\/07\/02\/nextgeo-joins-the-intermonte-valore-italia-index\/","title":{"rendered":"Nextgeo Joins the Intermonte Valore Italia Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Napoli, July 2<sup>nd<\/sup> 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Next Geosolutions (\u201c<strong>NextGeo<\/strong>\u201d or the \u201c<strong>Company<\/strong>\u201d), one of the leading international players in marine geoscience and offshore construction support services for the energy sector and listed on Euronext Growth Milan market, announces that it has been selected from among the 100 companies listed on the Borsa Italiana that make up the <strong>Intermonte Valore Italia Index<\/strong>, which is dedicated to SMEs with a market capitalisation of less than one billion euros and which are not included in the FTSE MIB.<\/p>\n<p>The Index was created with the aim of promoting the universe of listed Italian small and medium-sized enterprises, acting as a meeting point between entrepreneurship, the capital markets and the national economy. It provides a genuine cross-section of the best expertise within the Italian economy, helping to broaden and diversify investment opportunities compared with traditional indices, for both domestic and international investors.<\/p>\n<p>Companies are selected using rigorous technical and financial criteria, designed to ensure adequate levels of liquidity, transparency and investability, including: minimum free float, sound governance standards, analyst coverage, financial sustainability and debt levels, as well as representativeness within the Index itself.<\/p>\n<p>The Index forms part of<strong> PMI2Change<\/strong>, Banca Generali\u2019s innovative project launched on 1 July 2026 at Borsa Italiana\u2019s Palazzo Mezzanotte, which aims to support the growth and competitiveness of Italian entrepreneurs by fostering the development of listed domestic SMEs. The project tackles the issue of limited liquidity and undervaluation of listed SMEs, helping to create the best conditions for a more efficient match between capital and businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giuseppe Maffia, CFO of NextGeo commented:<\/strong> <em>\u201c<\/em><em>Inclusion in the Intermonte Valore Italia Index confirms Next Geosolutions\u2019 commitment to creating sustainable value for all stakeholders. This recognition strengthens the Company\u2019s credibility in the financial markets and encourages us to continue pursuing our growth strategy<\/em><em>\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The initiative builds on the expertise of Intermonte, a leading Italian player in the sector with over thirty years\u2019 experience in the financial markets \u2013 particularly in SME research, sales &amp; trading, market making and investment banking \u2013 which has been an integral part of the Banca Generali Group since the start of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Building on the Index, Banca Generali, together with Investlinx and Intermonte, has launched a new actively managed, PIR-compliant ETF that will invest primarily in the universe defined by the Index itself. Banca Generali has committed to supporting the launch of the fund with an initial capital inflow of \u20ac100 million in the first few months, with a gradual increase in exposure to reach \u20ac500 million in the medium term.
